1. I just successfully stuffed myself to the brim!! Ate nonstop since 6pm til now, and am gonna be on another journey of fasting!

2. This word - "FLOW".
I checked the dictionary and "flow" means to move along in a stream.

Well, I'm thinking flow in a sense of flowing with your leaders.

Knowing that they are the (God-)appointed ones above you, won't you flow with their visions and their plans? Believe in what they believe in, join in in whatever they are planning...

Even if it's something silly they want to do, won't we just get in sync with our leaders and go along with them?
[of cause, in consideration that it doesn't contradict one's good morals and the will of God]

It's part of LOYALTY. How loyal we are to the ones above us. And loyalty is a virtue.

It's always good to flow. Always good to get in tuned and involved with what's in the mind of your leader.

I just caught this show, A Walk to Remember, again after maybe years. :)
It's a great show, and I appreciate it so much more now as compared to my primary school days...

Basically a show about love. Love makes our walk in life memorable.

My Sister's Keeper

I caught the movie My Sister's Keeper. It is without doubt, my favouritest movie of the year (out of the fairly many I've caught). And it is one of the bestest movies I've watched, ever. I love the show sooooo much.

It's basically a show all about this family... About love. About destined lives. About sacrifices. About things you and I can definitely relate to.

It's a very sad and emotional show. Even from the start, I was on the brink of tears. And the last 1/3 of the show or so, I found myself weeping uncontrollably and thinking, "God this is really too sad. Oh no, it's very saddddd. This show's very sad..."

It's a touching-sad kinda show. And I like the way it invoked so much emotions in, I'm sure, not only me but everyone watching. The atmosphere in the theater was really solemn (which was eventually destroyed by me; but let's not talk about embarrassing things :/).

I like the show for the many thoughts it stirred up in me too. The several "revelations" I grasped.. It's a show with depth.

Till now, my mind is still so preoccupied with the details from this most awesome show. I'm still recovering from all the invoked emotions. In fact, I'm still talking to Emily about it. Discussing the show... It just ain't a show that I'd put at the back of my mind right after watching it.

Ahhh you can see how much I love this movie. It's my kinda show. I don't mind spending more money, and watching it again. :)

It somehow made me love and cherish my family more.

& There was One who purposefully came to this Earth to just, give His life... So we could live.

Have you guys played House of the Dead before? The shooting game in arcades... Well, I had my first time yesterday!!! And guess what? I only lasted like, probably... 1 minute of the game. Gosh. No kidding, and it cost me $1.50. Each play is $1.50. :S

Ah, I'm really bad at it. The zombies just kept attacking me, and being unable to shake them off, I eventually diedddddddddddddddd. I watched other people played before! And they lasted really long :(

This show made my heart wanna come out from my mouth man! I ain't a horror/scary show kinda person. Even if the show doesn't talk about ghosts/spirits. A show like Sorority Row with a mysterious murderer that creeps up onto the characters and kills them suddenly freaks me out too. I found myself covering my eyes or seeking distraction by using my phone at various parts of the movie. I attempted to find security in my movie partner E too, who apparently only made me all scaredddddd.

It took me quite a bit of time to recover from the pulse-accelerating movie.

Maybe it's just me. Haha.

Nightmare with Prestigious Cabs!

I decided to cab to Jurong West today, and went to hail a cab.

I waited 5 minutes... 10 minutes... about 15 minutes... STILL NO CAB IN SIGHT.
I got a little worried as all the cabs that went pass me were either "Hired" or "On Call". I was even thinking if I should call one too! But decided to just wait.

Finally, a black cab that looked pretty cool came. I have never sat on this kind of cab before! Before I boarded the cab, I noticed the words on the cab door - SMRT Prestige. Then and there, I felt something already. I was boarding a Prestigeeeee cab man.

However, it didn't look comparable to Merc cabs so I didn't think too much about it. I was expecting its starting fare to be similar to Merc cabs ($3.20). THEN, when the uncle started the meter, I GOT A SHOCK OF MY LIFE. My heart was gonna come out of my mouth already! The starting fare was FIVE DOLLARS. And that wasn't the worst!!!
I realized the way the meter jumped wasn't like how it is in normal cabs. It jumps by THIRTY CENTS, unlike the usual TWENTY CENTS :'( I really wanted to puke then. Hahahaha. I couldn't help but think of the super unjustified cash that was gonna fly away from me...

ALSO, the meter jumps every very-short-distance. The distance per thirty cents was less than the normal distance per 20 cents driven by the usual cabs.

I was sooooo... :S turned off. Hahahhaha. It was a freaky experience man.

I left the cab with 21 dollars less in my wallet, unlike the usual supposed 11 dollars. Just to Jurong West!! It costs me only about 18 to cab from my house to EXPO! :O

Don't say I didn't warn you guys - AVOID THE BLACK PRESTIGIOUS-LOOKING SMRT CABS IF YOU AREN'T FEELING RICH THAT DAY!!!

Awesome movie!!! :) I love it! A pity Emily & I had to leave the theaters before the show ended. Sorry Em! :(

500 Days Of Summer ain't a typical romance movie.. In fact, the show isn't a very emotion-stirring movie, unlike some very good romance films. Good storyline (kinda sad, cause no happy ending! :( ) but what's most impressive is how the entire movie is "styled". It's very unique.

It has a very 'Literature' and arty touch to it, which I love very much!! Super liked the arty portrayal of one's emotions, the transitions and such. How they showed the comparisons of expectations & reality.. (Y)!

Also found it ironic how a working adult sought a young girl for advices. Could the issues of life blind a supposedly-maturer person from the essence of life even children understood? I guess it's always important to find back the child in all of us. To learn to push aside the complexities of life we tend to look into as we grow older and go back to that child-like simplicity.

6 things I wanna share on 6th Oct!

1) Today, is finally FREEDOM DAY. End of my torturous course of promos!!
It hasn't really been good so far.. Haha, my worst exam period in my entire life. Somehow. :(

Just really trusting God for the best. Praying so hard I can promote. Grace, grace, grace I need!

2) I was at New York New York today for a good dinner. Enjoyed the food, enjoyed the company :)
Hardly anything beats a good dinner during an irritating time of exams!

3) On an even lighter note, I've learnt to rely on God more and to love Him more during this long special season of my life.
I'm so thankful for the intricate plans God has set up just for me, so He can build my character and my walk with Him!

Glory to glory, I'm believing!

4) I'm gonna try out Red Bull to keep me awake during my last 2 papers later.
Please give me wings, o you red bull!

5) Have been having several thoughts on my mind... Significant food-for-thoughts to really ponder about. New insights and even revelations through it all! :)

I'M GONNA BURSTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT.

I walked in mac at 11+ pm just now, wanting to buy icecream.
Felt like eating something. And felt like eating icecream.

The moment I stepped in mac, the fragrance of the fries overwhelmed me... And tempted me :(
I sadly gave into temptation and ordered a pack of LARGE FRIES.

I stepped out... And realized, I was still full from dinner :'(
And that I've no appetite suddenly, at all. :(

And I spent the moments after forcing fries down my throat.
And, I finished the entire thing! The entire overflowing packet of fries!!!!!!!!!!!

Hope fats will help me promoteeeeeeee :X

God of Timings.

I realized, God is really a God of TIMINGS.

Many a times, it is not just about completing the task He has appointed us, it is about the timing. When it is completed by... How long we take.. Etc.
A very good example is tithing. Tithes are called FIRST FRUITS ya?

God is also never too early, never too late, but just on time. He always brings the right encouragements, right people, right sermon, right word at the right time.

There's always a season for everything. And God has His timing and ways to make things happen.

If there's one thing I've caught this season of my life, it's to trust in His timing. And not my own.
Not to live by what I want, but really know that whatever is in the huge mind of God that knows all things is what is best for me.

And I don't wanna miss out on His timing. On what He's doing at each moment. I want to learn to listen, be obedient, and follow. :)

Gosh oh gosh.
I dropped my laptop hard on the ground four times since I got it early this year!! :(

2 of which happened today.
Once at cell group when I forgot to zip my laptop bag, and it slipped out of the bag and bam. Hit the ground...
Second time I dropped it was JUST. Accidentally pushed it off my bed, and it landed on the floor with a loud bang!
Til my mom called out from her room and asked if I just dropped something.

SIGH.

Interesting Thursday

Here are some interesting facts that made my interesting Thursday really interesting. Hee.

(i) I was supposed to meet Em at suntec today. When she was done with her work at Suntec, I was at Cityhall. So I went over to Suntec. At the same time, she was walking over to Cityhall. So when I reached Suntec, I ended up walking back towards Cityhall. Haha. :)

(ii) Sun's new awesome english single, Fancy Free, was going to be played on 91.3FM. Emy and I didn't want to miss it. So even while watching The Ugly Truth in theatres, we were listening to the radio! Multitask.
The song was played during a funny part of the show. When I stopped laughing, I found the tune played on radio so familiar!! I realized it was the song!!! Thank God I recognized it before it ended! :)

(iii) Em & I left Suntec area at 1145pm. We wanted to take 502e back to the west..
Who would have imagined?? We actually accidentally took 518e instead O.O I don't know how either. I was so shocked when I saw TP after we travelled for quite long. My oh my.

(iv) Tons more interesting stuffs, we're interesting people afteralllll :P

It's 3:13 am now.
3 hours left to do important things before I have to prepare for school.
Hope I won't sleep tonighttt.

Basically, I spent 2 hours rotting, trying to untag myself in facebook photos. After I reached home at 11.
It didn't help much, cause I think I untagged myself in 100 photos. But I've 200 more to go. Gee.
(Ah, don't do this again Gwen. FB is just not worth so much time!!)

Then, spent another 2 hours. Doing what was very important in my opinion. I'm feeling so much better now!
